Zol Wëv Hadfow (/zol/ /wɛv/ [humble; modest] [lizard]) is a subtropical Small City located in the Fle̜költyo Moot of the Rosid.
The name Zol Wëv Hadfow is derived from the Goblin language, as Zol Wëv Hadfow was founded by Imed, who was culturaly Wood Elf.
Climate
Zol Wëv Hadfow has a yearly average temperature of 16°C (60°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a warm 26°C (78°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a cold 6°C (42°F). Zol Wëv Hadfow receives an average of 150 cm/y (59 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the fall. Zol Wëv Hadfow covers an area of nearly 16 km2 (6 mi2), and an average elevation of 4252 m (13950 ft) above sea level.
Overview
Zol Wëv Hadfow was founded durring the early 9th century, by Imed. The establishment of Zol Wëv Hadfow was plagued by a lack of willing colonists. After attempts to pay people to resettle failed Imed struck deals with nearby nations and communities to establish Zol Wëv Hadfow as a prison colony.
Zol Wëv Hadfow was built using the conventions of Wood Elf durring the early 9th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Zol Wëv Hadfow is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature masoned stone construction which prominantly features pointed arches, pointed ribbed vault cielings, flying buttress', and window tracery all of which share a simmilar gemoetetic patern halfway between organic and inorganic in design formaing a very distinct aesthetically integrated style. BUildings tend to reach for the havens, and more expencive homes are easily identified by their floor count as well as the addition of decorative features intigrated into the building's design such as statues, gargoyals, and embelished joinery.
Zol Wëv Hadfow is buildings have been located at convienant points along the lake Zol Wëv Hadfow was built upon. Navigating the town is therefore a little chalanging as the distance between buildings verris greatly and the spacious split-log ties streets flow where they are able to be made rather than folowing the most convienant paths. The city has a fortified albit thin brick wall. The wall has most of the feeatures of a typical castle wall, just on a much smaller scale and and budget. Notably brick isn't a particuarly soild choice for resisting siege weapons. Zol Wëv Hadfow's wall wouldn't hinder a proper army, but it is more than sufishent for bandits and other small marauding groups. The city's monster and outlaw focused fortifications are visibly old, but also obviously well maintained. Its likly the local malishia or garrison are tasked with routine mantance of the city's defences.
Zol Wëv Hadfow is a bustling hive of activity. Everyone moves at nothing short of a jog, each convocation is a mile a minute, and there’s dedicated lanes for riding through town in the center of each street. The locals all appear to be not merely occupied, but in a true hurry for everything from drinking a pint of ale to their daily work.

Zol Wëv Hadfow has an animal control department which works to enforce local ordinances relating to the control, impoundment, and disposition of animals.
Zol Wëv Hadfow has an Office of Civil Groundskeeping, which works to enforce local ordinances relating to the construction and upkeep up of all plant life, water features, and other natural decorations within Zol Wëv Hadfow. Zol Wëv Hadfow has an Scientific Academy which provides higher education in the natural sciences.
Zol Wëv Hadfow possesses a Galvanic Power Grid, which brings galvanic current to most if not all buildings in town, and permits a great many consumer goods to function within the Small City. Zol Wëv Hadfow's grid is powered by hydrogalvanic generators.
Zol Wëv Hadfow has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands. They are not to be confused with the Office of Civil Groundskeeping as they do not hold authority over nor responsibility for Zol Wëv Hadfow's natural decorations nor waterways.
Zol Wëv Hadfow has a Guild of Roadworkers, who are responsible for maintaining the roadways and public paths within town. They also have the duty of enforcing all civil laws relating to the roadways.
Zol Wëv Hadfow has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.
Zol Wëv Hadfow has a public septic system, which allows its citizens to have indoor bathrooms. The septic system is overseen by the League of Sewerkeepers, who posses the legal authority to enforce all laws relating to the septic system, and are also tasked with its maintenance and upkeep.
Cultural Notes
Zol Wëv Hadfow's bank was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is inspired by the natural world, characterized by sinuous, sculptural, organic shapes, arches, curving lines, and sensual ornamentation. Common motifs included stylized versions of leaves, flowers, vines, insects, animals, and other natural elements. Decorative elements found on the inside and outside of buildings include intricate mosaic work, curved windows, and decorative trim work. .
In Zol Wëv Hadfow hail is always enormous, yet harmlessly plinks off people, creatures, and structures.
